Although these pictures are not pictures of my memories, they must have been very important to take pictures of, especially before the days of digital cameras, or even cheap 35 mm. My dad's mom lent this book to my mom and she asked Jason to scan some pictures in. Every time I look at the album, I find new things.
(my Great-Grandpa and Great-Grandma, Lawrence & Zella Sessions)
This is my heritage, my history.
(My Great-Grandma, Zella Sessions)
Pictures of many people I don't know,
and some who I know and love.
(My Grandpa, Dean (left), and my Great-Grandma, Zella. I did not know my grandpa loved photography)
Some I've heard stories about,
others I have now asked about.
(Look at all of these happy faces, and awesome swimwear)
They look so young,
younger than I've ever known them.
(My Grandpa Dean and Grandma Anna Sessions a.k.a. Ann)
They make me proud.
(My Grandpa Sessions)
(My Grandma Sessions)
I'm proud of my heritage.
